Stick Namler is unintentionally a mystery man band. They have a terrible social media presence that's almost nonexistent. They don't have this EP on their bandcamp, and don't have their first EP on any other streaming. They have no merchandise and play shows almost exclusively when I ask them to. Bandleader Brad Hudson offers a spin on midwest emo that works in the yell vocals similar to Barry from Joyce Manor. And the bass and drums stray away from the standard tone, which adds to how fresh this band is in an oversaturated sub genre.
